Immediate Past President
Jeff Nosenzo
Brown Insurance
BIO
Jeff Nosenzo is a 2004 graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management from Pamplin’s College of Business. From an early age he was passionate about business and hard work as he could often be found playing in the dirt with his toy trucks or later, selling golf balls he found along the course to passing golfers. Upon graduation, he immediately began working for Ferguson Enterprises honing his skills in their management trainee program. In 2015 Jeff, as an Area Branch Manager, was approached by a past customer to pursue a start-up venture in the heavy equipment industry. Though this new venture turned out to be short lived, his knowledge of contracts, management, and general business practices grew dramatically and eventually led him to Brown Insurance; a company who has served Southwest Virginia since 1927. There Jeff serves as Vice President and handles all lines of insurance with special focus on contractor and business coverage. In his free time Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife Joy, son Braden, and dog Duncan. He can still often be seen playing in the dirt via adult soccer leagues, golf, or many other activities that bring him and his family outdoors.
Builder Director
Jim Drader
Habitat for Humanity of the NRV
BIO
Jim joined the great team at Habitat of Humanity of the New River Valley as its Executive Director in August 2020. Jim formerly served as CEO of the New Creation Men's Center in Valparaiso, IN, a Christian organization that helps single men experiencing homelessness. Throughout his tenure, he consistently increased community awareness for those served through collaboration with over 50 churches in Northwest Indiana, Mental Health Facilities, United Way, the local Housing Authority, and related non-profit agencies.
Jim looks forward to continuing his servant leadership with Habitat for Humanity NRV, which serves Floyd, Giles, Montgomery, Pulaski Counties, and Radford City. We work side by side with our neighbors to build safe, affordable housing, helping communities thrive. One in three households in our service area is "cost-burdened" – paying over 30% of monthly income to cover housing costs. Habitat NRV helps families free themselves from this statistic. These families build and buy their homes at cost, with a low- or no-interest mortgage. We control the cost of our homes with donated materials and volunteer labor. Everyone needs a solid foundation to build a better future.
