What our members say

"One of the benefits NRVHBA membership has provided us with is the WiseChoice Healthcare Alliance. This program has provided my company with a “fresh look” at healthcare. We were able to capitalize on the health of our group while still sharing reinsurance risk with other businesses. Doing so has allowed us lower rates with the same great Anthem network and services."

"Through the NRVHBA, we cultivate deep connections with our local counties, towns, and their officials to actively represent our industry on the issues that affect us most. We consistently monitor state legislation to provide direct input to HBAV staff, and alongside NAHB, they powerfully represent us at every level of government to promote housing and construction. Sitting at the table with peers who understand the real-world impact of these policies proves that we are truly stronger together when it comes to protecting our right to build."

"Our membership with the New River Valley Home Builders Association has expanded our outreach to new customers while strengthening relationships with those we already serve. It has provided a valuable referral network and direct access to key decision makers, while also increasing our brand's visibility through community projects. Just as importantly, it's led to lasting friendships and trusted partnerships that continue to benefit both our business and community."

"When I joined the association a few months after starting my business, I really had no idea about the resources and opportunities available at all levels of the association, which includes membership at the local, state and national associations (AKA, The NAHB Federation). At the time I just wanted to have some beers, talk shop and network with local industry peers and associates. As I started exploring educational opportunities, I discovered not only valuable programs and sessions offered at IBS and through HBA's across the country, but realized that the association is full of members more than willing to share their expertise and experience. Networking with other members at various events turned me onto several opportunities including joining an NAHB 20 Club, which was the turning point in my business, enabling me to grow from an owner/operator to running a profitable business with key employees and continuing to have fun without the burnout of wearing 'all the hats' in the company. Builders and remodelers come in all flavors and shapes and sizes and membership provides access to the tools needed to help all of us to improve and to be successful."
